When rebuilding a mopar 318 what internals would you put in? If walls are good would you still bore or stock?

It really depends on you application, the chances of your cylinder bores being perfetly straight and round is very unlikely unless its a newer block. I would at least hone out .003" to get a good crosshatch on your cylinder walls. You want your crosshatch to be 22 to 32 degrees, any more and you will have upper block lubrication issues any less you will have too much lubrication and your piston rings wont seal properly. Look into speed pro for berings pistons ect, use tri-metal berings if your not turning the crank down (alltho you should make sure to check specs on the crank before you do anything with it, out of round, taper, barreling ect. Make 9 readings on each crank journal (mains, and rods)) Go with moly rings for the compression rings (if you want power the second ring will be a torsional twist design which has excellent blowby controll) DCepending on what cam your using HKS makes excellent flat tappet and roller cams. Like i said it all depends on if its a daily driver or a racecar, what arfe you looking to do with it, tell me and ill give you some more ideas!!|||i would keep everything stock. i would change the rings, bearings ( rod and main bearings ) new front and back seals, if the crank is still good i would leave it alone. new oil pump and the top take the heads to a machine shop and give it the works. i would replace the timing chain with a double roller chain.|||Your motor...your rebuild ...your money

How extensive expensive do you want to go.

Thats not up to us to decide ,but many will have their two cents to give
