How many ohms is a Mopar Radio?

I have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has the cd/cassette combo and was wondering the impedance of the radio or at least ohm ratings that would work. I don't want to switch out the radio because I love the steering wheel mounted controls and don't want to spend an extra few hundred to get a new radioHow many ohms is a Mopar Radio?
If you don't have the factory amplified Infinity system then the speakers are standard 4 ohm. With the Infinity system they are likely 2 ohm but I have seen some years that use 6 ohm speakers. It's next to impossible to find a 2 or 6 ohm aftermarket replacement speaker for the Infinity systems. However you can use 4 ohm speakers in their place as the Infinity amplifiers used are versatile and can can handle a 4 ohm load. Worst case would be if it is an Infinity with 2 ohm factory speakers and you replace them with 4 ohm aftermarkets then it will not be quite as loud as it used to be but will still sound good. How many ohms is a Mopar Radio?
Typically, the output of any car radio is 8 ohms
