I'd start with getting a 4 barrel carburetor (600cfm) and a matching intake manifold like the Edelbrock Performer. Then get a set of headers and 2 in dual exhaust with Flowmasters. Also make sure the engine is properly tuned, has a clean air filter, and maybe get new spark plugs. You could consider an upgrade to an MSD ignition and coil.

That's about all I would spend on the motor, but you could change to lower gears too. But 3.23s aren't that bad. Those are actually pretty good street gears. How can i get my 318 mopar to perform better ?
What he said. Also, you might try some 360 heads out of the junkyard. How can i get my 318 mopar to perform better ?
Sell it and get a ford.
